AegisLabs publishes Arrow Lane. This policy explains how the current Android and iOS game, and this privacy website, handle information. It also explains the choices you have. Version 1.0.0 build 4 and later include the advertising features below; earlier build 3 did not include an advertising SDK.
- Play without creating an account.
- Progress stays on your device.
- Optional gameplay statistics and crash reports help us improve the game.
- Turn statistics off in Camp settings → Game data.
- Optional rewarded videos provide extra hints; occasional interstitials appear between rounds.
- In Android versions that offer Meta install measurement, it is optional and off until you choose to enable it.
1. Information handled by the game
On your device, the game stores progress, the current level and layout, best level, language and sound preferences, your statistics preference, and a limited recent play history. These records support saving and resuming the game. We do not operate account login or cloud saves in this version.
When game data collection is enabled, Google Analytics for Firebase receives gameplay events such as level start and end, outcome, retry, hint use, pause and resume, and tutorial progress. Event details include the level number, pattern, difficulty, layout seed, balance version, attempt identifier, duration, and aggregate counts of shots, hits, defeated or escaped monsters, and hints. The remote events do not include the local record of individual shot times or raw tap coordinates.
The analytics SDK also handles app-instance or installation identifiers, sessions, app and operating-system version, device information, language, and approximate location derived from network information such as an IP address. These identifiers distinguish installations; they are not your name. Google states that Google Analytics does not log or store individual IP addresses.
Firebase Crashlytics handles crash and non-fatal error reports, stack traces, app state, device and operating-system information, installation identifiers, and diagnostic logs. We attach gameplay context such as the level, pattern, layout seed and balance version to help reproduce errors.
The game does not ask you for your name, phone number, contact list, photos, microphone recordings, camera access, or precise GPS location. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include.
Native ad-supported builds use Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) and User Messaging Platform. The SDK may process IP-derived approximate location, device or app-installation identifiers, device and system information, ad impressions and clicks, and diagnostic and performance data to deliver, measure and protect advertising. We request only non-personalized ads, remove the Android advertising ID permission, do not request iOS IDFA, and disable the iOS same-app key. Non-personalized ads can still use this data and local storage; they do not mean no data collection. Optional game reporting may also record ad loading, impressions, rewards and revenue actually reported by the SDK.
Some Android versions offer optional Meta install measurement. Only if you choose to enable it, the game initializes the Meta SDK and may send installation or first-open events, a random app-specific identifier, the Google Play install referrer when available, app and device information, and network information such as an IP address to Meta. We disable the SDK setting for advertising ID collection and remove the Android advertising ID permission. On some Android versions the SDK may still attempt to access the Android advertising ID or Meta attribution identifiers, depending on the device and its settings; the removed permission alone does not guarantee that these identifiers cannot be accessed on older Android versions.
Your collected cards, their completed arrow layouts and badge progress are stored on your device. Optional Firebase Cloud Messaging reminders are off until you choose to enable them. If enabled, Firebase processes a push registration token and installation information to deliver notifications. We subscribe this installation to an Arrow Lane topic for its platform and selected language; we do not send full saved card layouts or your push token to Analytics. If gameplay statistics are enabled, we report atlas views, card collection, badge unlocks and notification opens, including pattern or badge identifiers and collection counts.
2. Why we use information
Local information lets the game remember your progress and preferences. Gameplay statistics help us understand completion rates, difficult patterns, retries and use of hints. Diagnostics help us investigate errors and improve stability. Support correspondence is used to answer your questions and handle privacy requests.
We use information only for these purposes, to protect our services, and to meet applicable legal obligations. Depending on your location and the processing involved, applicable legal grounds may include providing the game you request, our legitimate interests in maintaining and improving it, and consent where required and obtained. You can object or withdraw an optional choice by using the controls below or contacting us.
Advertising revenue supports the game. Advertising information is used for ad delivery, measurement, frequency control and fraud prevention, with consent or opt-out choices where required.
We use optional Meta install measurement to assess and improve our advertising campaigns, including whether an ad may have led to a game installation. Meta processes data it receives according to its own privacy policy and settings; it may combine information from different sources for advertising and measurement, subject to applicable choices and law.
3. Your choices
In the current native release, optional gameplay and crash reporting are enabled by default unless you switch them off. Open the gear button → Camp settings → Game data: off. This choice is saved on the device. Turning reporting off does not prevent offline play or saving progress.
Switching reporting off stops future optional reports through the game's reporting controls. It does not automatically erase reports already received by Google. The diagnostic SDK may retain crash information locally while reporting is disabled. You may contact us about previously collected information.
You can remove locally saved progress through your device's app-data controls or by removing the app, subject to the way your operating system handles backups and restoration. No account deletion is required because the game has no account system. Ordinary web previews do not send gameplay analytics.
Rewarded videos require your choice; exiting early does not remove existing hints. You can continue playing when ads are unavailable. Google privacy messages collect choices in applicable regions. When privacy options are required, reopen them through Camp settings → Ad privacy choices. The Game data toggle controls optional Firebase reporting; it does not disable the ad SDK or replace ad privacy choices. You can also use your operating system advertising privacy controls.
Meta install measurement is a separate Android choice in versions that offer it. It is off unless you actively agree. You can withdraw your choice from Camp settings → Meta ad measurement; withdrawing stops subsequent Meta measurement processing. A request already in progress may still be handled, and information already received by Meta is not automatically erased. This choice is separate from the game data reporting setting and Google ad privacy choices. Refusing or withdrawing does not prevent you from playing.
You can enable or disable collection reminders in Camp settings. Disabling unregisters the push token and topic subscriptions; if the network is unavailable, the app displays a pending cleanup message and retries when reopened or brought online. You can immediately block notifications in your device system settings. Push preferences are separate from gameplay statistics and advertising consent.
4. Service providers and advertising
We use Google Analytics for Firebase for statistics, Firebase Crashlytics for diagnostics, and Firebase Hosting to deliver this website. Google processes information under its applicable terms and privacy documentation. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect users and the security of our services.
Build 4 and later integrate Google AdMob for rewarded videos and occasional result interstitials, with no in-app purchases. For these Google ad requests, we request non-personalized ads and do not send player profiles for cross-app targeted advertising. Google may still process and share necessary information for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. Legal definitions of sale or sharing vary by region; use the applicable ad privacy options to exercise your choices. Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. AdMob disclosures: https://developers.google.com/admob/android/privacy/play-data-disclosure and https://developers.google.com/admob/ios/privacy/data-disclosure.
When you opt in to optional Meta install measurement in a supported Android version, Meta Platforms receives the related information. Meta Privacy Policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/. This service measures our advertising; the game continues to use Google AdMob for the ads it shows.
5. Retention and security
Local progress remains until it is removed or replaced on the device. As of 2026-10-21, our Google Analytics property is configured to retain event-level data for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months. The user-data retention clock resets when new activity occurs. Aggregated standard reports can be retained longer under Google's service rules.
Firebase states that Crashlytics keeps crash traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal from live and backup systems. Service and security records, and support correspondence, may be kept as needed for their stated purposes and applicable legal obligations.
Reports use encrypted network connections. We limit access to operational needs, but no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Google may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States, subject to the safeguards described in its applicable data-protection terms.
Google retains advertising data according to its applicable retention rules and ad-delivery, measurement and fraud-prevention needs; periods can differ by data category. The Firebase retention settings above do not apply to AdMob. Advertising privacy choices are stored on the device through Google privacy messaging.
Meta retains information it receives according to its own applicable policies and settings; retention periods may differ by data type. See Meta’s privacy policy for available controls, or contact us about a privacy request.
6. Privacy requests
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing, request a portable copy, withdraw consent, or complain to your local privacy regulator. Contact contact@aegis-labs.com and identify Arrow Lane in your request.
We do not maintain a named player account. Some reports use installation identifiers that we cannot match to an email address. We may ask for limited information needed to verify and locate the relevant records, explain when identification is not possible, and help you use the available device and service controls. Do not send passwords or sensitive identity documents in an initial request. Disabling reports or sending a request does not itself promise immediate deletion of every existing report or backup.
7. Children
Arrow Lane is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable age of consent. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information can contact us. We will investigate and take appropriate steps, including deletion where required and feasible.
8. This website
This privacy and support website does not load advertising, analytics scripts, or third-party fonts. Firebase Hosting necessarily processes network and request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages and protect its service. Firebase states that Hosting retains IP data for a few months. Following an external link takes you to a provider's own privacy terms. Sending email uses your email service.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the game or our practices. The date at the top identifies the latest version. Material changes will be explained through an appropriate notice when required.
